Cell phone spy photos of the Glock 1911, sorry about low quality.
:scrutiny: Mmm hmm.

Actually, if they produced a cocked and locked SAO in .45 caliber with 1911 slimness, control type & location and other ergonomics, but with Glock reliability, I would be all over it, not being a purist.

Looks fake, but that's got to be the ugliest thing I've ever seen other than Janet Reno.

I have a Glock - great gun - should be plastic
I have a 1911 - they should always - always -always be all metal!!!

I have to say the only way I would consider another manufacturer making a 1911 newsworthy would be if it was polymer framed and very lightweight or if it is extremely inexpensive and reliable. Not trying to bash a 1911 at all but there are so many 1911 manufacturers that another will not excite me. Granted if it looked like the pic does, I would pass as well

Just an FYI on your G-Lock love.
I work for a state department, we have Glock 22's and are losing 1-2 frames and slides on every qualification week.
G-Lock does work for it's intended purpose. They are for the most part combat reliable. They are... well... plastic.
I prefer and carry... Colt.

Prove it. No way are they experiencing 2-4 total failures per qualifying.

IF Glock had all these innovations: ceramic inserts, integral camera, RFID (guess this faker doesn't understand what RFID is), why wouldn't they introduce it in their own patented design?

Introducing innovations into a M1911 design just means that others could copy them.

Have to agree with them. In another thread you said:

If you want a safe action pistol buy a G-Lock, nothing wrong with it, other than... well... it's not a Colt Series 70.

Nothing wrong with it, but here you say they are falling apart basically with no proof. Hey guess what? I shot a 1 inch group @ 400yrds using my Walther P22!!! See there? No proof.

This wouldn't be the first time someone made a polymer version of a 1911. I DO have a Wilson Combat KZ45. This is a polymer version of a 1911 that uses 10 round double stack magazines. It's been a great gun for me. Before I got this I used to have a Springfield Armory GI 1911 that was nothing but a jamamatic. I got rid of it and swore I'd never buy another 1911. On a whim I purchased the Wilson KZ45. I've never heard anything negative about their products or their customer service. A couple of thousand rounds later this gun still purrs like a kitten and hasn't given me a single problem. The only thing I've done to it is replaced the plastic recoil spring guide with a more durable steel one and I've also been using shok buffs in it as well.
