I received notification of the availability of this Glock:

Glock has come out with a 20th anniversary model 17. They are only producing 2006 pieces of which only 1200 are being shipped to the USA.

The right side of the slide has Gaston Glock's signature on it, under that is stamped "xxx of 2006", it also is stamped "20 Years of Perfection 1986 to 2006".

The guns come with two 17 round magazines, a loading tool, cleaning brush, gun lock and all paperwork.

We have two to sell, they are $679 each plus tax for cash. We will not have any more other than these two to sell.

Who knew? :D

Does this mean that the other guns don't consistantly come with all the paperwork.

GLOCK is my favorite.

However, it is not something that I'd find interest in a special edition. It'd be like getting a commemorative engraved hammer. Even if they are of the highest quality, I think I'd rather have the most plain, anti-special tool, even at equal prices. Much less if the special anniversary hammer was MORE expensive. ymmv.

Thanks for sharing though. You going for one? Going to shoot it, or hang onto it?

$525

I am aquainted with a gun dealer who sold one just barely over cost to a really good customer. He told me that he charged him $525.
