Well to be honest I have smaller hands than average. I own a G19 and G17 that feel perfect. I have handled the 21 and the size is a bit large for me. In comparison how does a G21SF compare to the G21 in size? Any help would be greatly appreciated!:D

The difference is 4mm off the back-end if I remember correctly. I have shot both if you can barely shoot the 21 then the SF may help, but there was barely any difference in the 3rd gens I shot.

I think it's only a 3mm difference off the backstrap!

If you're like the majority of people, the 21 feels a little too large, but manageable. The 21SF would also feel a little too large, but manageable. But when you hold them back to back, the 21SF feels better. The 21SF may also point just a tad lower than the 21 due to the grip shape.

I agree with this.

Thanks for the replies! I've done some research and this seems to be the consensus among shooters!

I have owned the 21 and currently own a 20sf. I have big palm and short fingers and found the 20sf to be a better fit and definitely notice a difference between the two.

You could just get a Gen 4 G21. With the small back strap in it is the same size as the Gen 3 21SF.

In all honesty, I don't think there is enough difference to warrant the SF model going into production. I've got large hands and I can't tell a great deal of difference. If my hands were smaller it might be more noticeable.

I've got a Gen 4 21... No backstrap is the size of the SF. The medium backstrap is the size of the standard grip (according to Glock). The difference is the SF has a shorter frame, front to back. Makes the mag release a little more accessible, and generally fits the hand better for most people.

BUT... I would still suggest the gen 4 just because if you have small hands. The larger mag release and SF-sized frame will be much easier to manipulate than the gen 3 SF and the tiny mag release.

I don't have huge paws either. For me the 21SF's and G4 21's feel close to a G3 G17, just slightly bigger in hand but the way it feels bigger is more side to side than front to back. A G21SF is on my short list.

The big grip is easy to get used to, IMO.

I have pretty average hands, and if it weren't for the cost of 45ACP, the G21SF would be my main range toy.

After you get used to it, everything else feels too small!
