Put a few mags of .40 180 gr JHP/FMJ through my Glock 22 the other day and the locking block pin almost backed all the way out. I compared it to my Glock 23 and the 23 is ridiculously tight where the 22 can be pressed out with your fingernail and twisted by hand. Obviously I can go shooting my gun thinking about the pin coming out and while it might not happen in the one mag that I'd use to defend myself, I won't be carrying it til it's fixed. My question(s): Why is it doing this? How do I fix it?

Could be the locking block itself or the pin.

Personally, I would just buy a new piece of each, install, and retest. Would cost less than shipping it to Glock.

it could also be the frame itself.. if the glock has been detail striped alot the pin whole actually galls and will no longer hold the pin in place. while it is okay to detail strip a glock on occasion, but consistant detail striping is actually detrimental to pin fit.

I'll definitely switch out the pin. This was a police trade-in and was detail stripped maybe once or twice in the 15 or so years it's had its walkin around shoes.
