I just scored on a Glock 22C. Gun, three 10rd mags, Streamlight TLR 2, extra unported barrel, holster and twin mag carrier. $500. Looks almost brand new and shoots very well. Also buying 500rds of retail practice ammo for $200. I am well pleased. One question, will the 15rd .40 mags work with this gun?

Yes, that's the gun they were made for. The ports do help with recoil but, at least indoors, I much prefer the un-ported barrel.

Good deal!

There's a lot of people who have misinformed notions of the C models. I've owned my 23C for a year now and it's seen probably a thousand rounds.
I've shot the pistol from a retention position, in low nights, one handed weak and strong and I can not see a reason why anyone could dislike a pistol with less recoil and muzzle jump.
The only issue is the muzzle blast is a little louder. But I shoot with protection on. In a self defense situation I think my hearing will be a least of my concerns.
My only complaint is they quit making them and they never made them in Gen 4!

Im much more accurate with my C than my old 40 XDM. Both excellent pistols but the lack of muzzle jump is priceless!

Thanks 1K. I have never been a big fan of Glocks even though I carry one daily. They aren't exciting but the darn things work. I think the 22C will be welcome.

I can only assume you posted in response to me, implying that my notions are misinformed. I assure you they are the result of many thousands of rounds through a Glock 23C. FOR ME the additional concussion is very distracting and unpleasant. In really cold temps (17 degrees) it's almost unbearable.

My PERSONAL PREFERENCE is the unported barrel.

You must be made of tougher stuff. Congrats.

I do t personally notice any difference from my 19 to my wife's 19c. Until it comes time to clean it..
