Glock 23vs. USP C .40

Both are combat weapons, and will be accurate enough for their designed purposes.

but I can say that my uspc 45 is very accurate.

If you don't mind the glock grip angle, trigger pull, or polymer magazines, then it's probably the better choice. It's cheaper, has a slightly higher magazine capacity, and has way better after-market product support then the H&K. The H&K does offer more lock options (SA/DA, DAO, LEM, a manual safety etc) and is warrantied for use with +p ammo (don't know if glock is or not). My recommendation: If you don't mind the glock grip angle, trigger, or polymer mags, it's probably the better buy. If any or all of those are deal breakers then USPc is every bit as good (I carry one every day and love it). One quick thing about the H&K, the rail is proprietary, and won't fit most lights/lasers without an adapter.

Well in .40 there is no +P, I know in .45 and 9mm both the Glock and USP are good to go for +P. Magazines are wayyyyyy cheaper and more readily available for the 23, the 23 is more trim than the USP, and (honestly, my first pistol was a fullsize USP .40, still one of my favorite guns) the Glock does have a better trigger overall. The USP trigger is... Not as bad as a Sigma trigger.

From a rest they should be pretty comparable in accuracy, practically their accuracy will depend on how they fit you and which trigger/sights you are better with.

USPc due to the SA/DA and hammer operation over striker operation. Also the slide release, mag release, and take down are far better and operator friendly. I am just as accurate with my USPc as I am with my buddies Glock so it is a wash there.

both are well made firearms that should serve you well. select the one that you like the best. for me, it's the Glock 23, 22, 19, 17, etc.

i don't know that they are inherently more accurate, but i shoot them well and prefer them.

Another vote for the USPc. I have shot both of the pistols you're asking about and I personally prefer the USPc, but the glock is far from a bad choice. Definitely cheaper but a used USPc won't ever screw up in your lifetime and go for pretty decent prices usually. Of course, I'm probably biased as my favorite pistol/my daily carry is a USPc .45

The Glock23 always pointed and shot well for me, in fact, they are my favorite .40S&W. I don't care for H&K triggers, so my recommendation is the G23

Oh yeah I forgot I am a huge fan of the USP magazine release, or any other release that I can use with my index finger.

I have a glock 19 as my bedside gun, same size as the 23. I am saving now for a uspc to replace it and then the 19 will move into my ccw. I favor the 19/23 for carry.
