Glock 26 vs Glock 30 for wife and I?

OK, took the wife gun shopping - she likes the Glock 26 (with extension on mag). I like the 26 too, but would like the 30 (45acp). I am wondering, what would be the recoil difference between the two? They are almost the same size and price. 9mm ammo is cheaper of course so that is a + to the 26. ANY thoughts or info would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!

Personally, I feel the recoil of the 26 is worse than the 30. 9mm is more snappy than the push you get with a .45.

But the 26 holds 12 rounds with the mag extension versus only 10 for the 30. PS..getting that 10th round in the mag has always proven to be difficult for me. The 30 is also noticeably heavier...but I love them both.

I like shooting the G26, i think recoil is low IMHO, but most of the time i shoot a S&W 642 w/38+P's so the G26 would feel less.
