glock 30 sf

i have a glock 30sf. im looking for a conversion barrel in 10mm. all i can find is g30 barrel. will the standard 30 barrels fit in the sf? i dont know alot about the glocks. would i need a extractor and recoil spring to help with the differnce's in pressures and case sizes?

Uppers are the same; only the frame is different. You'll need a stronger recoil spring and a lot of luck. Good luck with reliable extraction.

thanks hentown, i already decided not to trust my life with the conversion barrel. going to use the 10mm as a side arm out in the field.

You might find that the conversion barrel is 100%. Some have reported that's their experience. Others, however, report unpredictable extraction problems. There are some recommended "fixes" to the .45ACP extractor, to make it work better with 10mm.
