Hello everyone, i recently asked what autos you all preferred and I was so happy at the responses I got from you all. Thank you all, it really helped.
My criteria was a non-1911 frame probably in 9mm for mostly range shooting, and while I was super impressed with the nearly legendary Sig 226 and the HK USP models, I was just at my local Gun store today for more research and held many models, but the Glock 34 felt good, seemed to have the right features at the right prices for me, but I know next to nothing about them other than they sometimes carry these nicknames frequently in posts, "simple" & "Glunck."
Can any of you shed some more light on the Glocks in general or how the 34 shoots paper compared to lets say a Sig 226, or the insanely beautiful (personal opinion based solely on its looks) H&K USP? Is there any bit of common knowledge about them (i.e. I found out today that it has a hammerless back end) I should know now while I am in the decision phase.
Thank you all in advance,
RFB
p.s. I still will be setting up some range time with them before making any final decisions.
