How difficult is it to pull back the slide on a Glock 42? I have looked at a Sig P290 380 and also a Ruger LC380 and both have slides that are pretty easy to pull back. I would compare the Ruger and Sig to a slide on a 22 autopistol. Is the Glock 42 slide as easy to pull back as the Ruger LC380 and the Sig P290 380?

A little tougher.

But proper technique overcomes. Overhand, not slingshot will give you better grip. Thumb should be pointing in the direction of slide travel, so as you force the slide back your thumb is pointing into the slide, getting forced into the groves like a plow and getting better grip.

Sig makes a subcompact P250 in 380 and I would imagine the slide is easy to pull if the Sig 290 slide is easy to pull because the 250 is a bigger gun.

I don't have an LCP, but I do have a P3AT, G42, TCP and a Sig P238.

The G42 is a little harder than all the other ones, but really not difficult to rack.

The Sig 238 is by far the easiest of all , especially it the hammer is pre cocked.
