I’m a jeans/shorts and t shirt. Trying to keep it hidden as much as possible.I carry one OWB at 3-4 o'clock position in a Desantis leather holster. I don't have an issue with it. But I live in Arizona so I'm not really worried about printing. So my idea of what is okay might be different than yours.
chose the 43x as the best combination of grip and size for my needs.
No a pistol the size of the 43X (or Shield or 365XL, whatever) should not possibly "print too much." Fact is, even with almost any body type, a good belt/holster combo should easily be able to effectively conceal the 43X OWB, unless you're wearing a tightly-fitted shirt (or going shirtless).Anyone find this prints too much in a OWB?
I will make one suggestion that hasn't been covered here, get a slight forward cant on your holster, this puts the grip closer to the vertical midline of one's side (if carrying at the 3-4 o'clock).

Any moderate or high-rise, securely and closely-worn pancake style, either kydex or leather, OWB will conceal a sub-compact pistol.
I've used a MFT kydex, a Bianchi Remedy, DeSantis Mini-Scabbard for the 43X, usually about 3:00/3:30 position and any style of untucked shirt (that's not see-through). Carried this pistol (as well as a SIG P-365XL) in Florida, Arizona and SoCal with no worries. Get a dedicated gun-belt by Galco, Crossbreed, Beltman, MagPul, BladeTec, Wilderness Tactical, just for gosh sakes don't use a belt less than 1.5" wide or thin and flimsy.

My buddy was just asking me about these 3. The 43, 43X and 48. He asked me if I could do it over would I get the 43 again and I said that it was kind of a tough call. I like the 43X but it wasn't out at the time I got my 43. I think I could still go with the 43, it's very easy to conceal. The Glock 43x/48 grip frame is comfy for me, too. Now that I’m an admin desk jockey I retired my G-34 for my primary on-off duty gun. I bought a G-43, G-48 and G-43xMOS, and chose the 43x as the best combination of grip and size for my needs.
Off duty I carry in a kydex pancake-style holster made for me by a friend, it is similar to the one posted above. I am not the biggest guy, and the gun doesn’t print too badly with a shirt covering it.
Stay safe.
And the Shield Arms 9rd mag for the 43 goes a long way toward evening the capacity with the 43X. My 43 is still the gun I carry the most. It is simply very easy to conceal. Even when I carry another gun as my primary I'll carry the 43 as a backup in an ankle holster. My buddy was just asking me about these 3. The 43, 43X and 48.
