I'm kicking around building an 80% Glock 19 for a fun project.

Right now, Glock OEM parts (as a kit) are either out of stock or double the price of those that are out of stock.

So I'm thinking of going aftermarket. The two brands for frame-completion-kits and slide-completion-kits that I am looking at are Lone Wolf and Shadow Systems.

Anyone have anything to say about either brand? I know folks think OEM is best for an 80% build, but I'm looking for other options.

Looks like reviews for Lone Wolf are hit-or-miss.

I might risk it with Shadow Systems. Maybe I'll call them and see how their CS is.

I like lone wolf barrels. Never used any small parts, however years ago, they were a good company. Even emailed me to ask if everything was good with the purchase.

I ran into a guy at the LGS that was picking up his fourth Polymer80 Glock frame. He had one with him that he built with Shadow Systems parts and said that he was very happy with them.
The Glock OEM lower kit runs about $60 and the Shadow Systems lower kit a $140. Brownell's just had a sale on the Polymer80 frames. I bet they will have parts back in stock in a week or two.

Yep, I snagged a grey Poly80 frame, a Brownell's slide, and silencerco barrel allon sale with discount codes.

I just need the frame and slide kits. But the Shadow Systems kit comes with an upgraded trigger so that's kind of a nice bonus over OEM.
