Glock G17 vs G19 for defence

Overall I prefer the G17, but you need to get some hi-cap mags to take full advantage of it. The G19 isn't that much smaller and you need hi-caps for that too, otherwise why go with a double stack gun for concealed carry? Too thick in my opinion. The only reason for a double stack is greater capacity, so without the hi-cap mags, neither of these choices make much sense to me. I wouldn't use either of them for CCW because neither of them are extremely concealable in my opinion. But if you are going to carry it, the G19 is probably the best compromise if you're only going to have one gun.

I have a G19 that I love. I also have a G22(same size as th G17). I think the concealabilty issue is small, but the G19 is definatley easier.

I'd go with the 19 over the 17 because I don't think the sight radius advantage would be much to speak of. The 19 is very accurate for me.
