Me too.

BullfrogKen:
Have carried a 1911 Commander, Browning Hi-Power, both are "duty-sized" automatics.

I carry mine in outside the waistband holsters, with a sturdy belt. I use an old, now discontinued Milt Sparks Roadrunner for the 1911. The Hi-power holster I had a local holster-maker produce for me.

With my wardrobe no one notices. No one notices anyway, people generally walk around oblivious.

Me too. Now that the autumnal equinox is upon us I'm switching from my warm weather nylon/cordura belt/holster rig back to leather. My belt slide from Bob Mernickle
http://www.mernickleholsters.com/ps/ps18.html will accommodate a 1911 of any barrel length or a BHP. I use it to carry a Colt SS Combat Commander, a Colt Gov't Model or an FEG HP (between 8 and 9 o'clock).

I use a heavy belt from Mernickle and a double magazine case from Tex Shoemaker (at 4 o'clock) and conceal it all with one of several vests.

I'm often around folks who would probably say something if they had any inkling I was carrying. But I've been doing this for a few years now and nobody seems to have noticed.

I carry my Hi-Powers in either Skip Ritchie leather (Hideaway, CQ-QR, or Stakeout) or in a Milt Sparks Executive Companion. All are good, concealable, comfortable holsters.

I carried a Govt (5") model 1911 in a Milt Sparks Versamax II for years. You won't find one more comfortable or concealable than that.

I use the same model holster for my S&W model 19 2 1/2" revolver
