I recently purchased the Glock Gen 4 22 and the dealer changed the trigger pull. I really like the difference from the standard 5.5 lbs. I am thinking about having my Taurus 45 trigger adjusted. Can you guys tell me about your thoughts on that. I realize it boils down to what I like but I'd like to know what some of you suggest for a good pull to look at for the Taurus. The pull on mine is so loose you have to almost have it pulled back all the way before it fires. So, is there a good (lbs) that some of you might suggest that I try.

I have zero experience with the tuarus autos, but from what i understand, a gunsmith would have to modify the pistol.

The wonderful thing about a Glock is that the user can modify just about every aspect of the trigger with readily available parts that wont cost you much money. There are "minus" (AKA 3.5#) , standard (aka 5.5#), and "plus" connectors that can be used with the lightened or standard spring, or the NY1/NY2 springs. If you want to take it to the next level, there are some drop in trigger kits that can make the Glock shine. Most of these modifications do not require the use of a gunsmith. All that is needed is a small punch, basic understanding of how the pistol is assembled/disassembled, and an internet connection in case you need instructions or assistance.
