roger that.

1st gen - No lightrail, no finger grooves, no checkering on front/back straps
2nd gen - No lightrail, no fingergrooves, checkering on front/backstraps.
3rd gen - Lightrail, Fingergrooves

Theres also 2.5. I think its lightrail and no fingergrooves. Dont remember which models they applied for.

BlackMajik- the 2.5 ones were made in the 20/21 size guns. They had finger grooves, but no light rails. I owned a 21 in this configuration for a while.

understand a 4th generation out now??? btw my G19 came with a red dot on both sides of the trigger guard; I was told it was to indicate when the trigger was armed. It also had a loaded chamber indicator that shows a red line at the top when loaded, and an extended slide release (like the G34, only I am told they are different and so not interchangeable). I was told this is not normal..anyone ever seen a Glock with these..

Also had a friend who had a Glock 17 that came with steel sights (looks the same as the plastic sights) and it had a plug in the backstrap, again unusual..
these guns were NIB..
