Generations of Glock

How do I tell a 2nd generation Glock from a 3rd generation? What should I expect to pay for a decent used G 19 or G 17 in Texas? Thanks, Joe Sacco

You should be able to find the answers to your questions in about 2 minutes of using the search function.

Generation 1: smooth grip, no finger grooves, no tac-rail
Generation 2: textured grip, no grooves, no rail
Generation 3: textured grip, with grooves, with rail

Value of either model you mention should be around the $370-450 range, depending on condition and area.
