I was looking at www.ccfraceframe.com and love the idea of this. I did a search and couldn't find much info on it. The Glock 19's grip is too wide for my hands for the proper hold and have enough extension of my trigger finger to place on the trigger. I have seen the DIY epoxy/shaping and I'm not interested in going to town grinding on a $500 gun. My only problem with the CCF race frame is the added weight of the metal grip. I guess that's why people like it though, but I wish they would make a plastic one with all the same features. Does anyone know if the CCF frame is complete with all the internals, so all you have to do is slide upper(barrel and slide) onto the frame? Is there ANY other options for a replacement grip that has less of a backstrap (1911ish) like the CCF? Thanks for any help.

Well, you can get a CCF with an aluminum frame, it would still weigh more than a polymer Glock, but it wouldn't be oppresively heavy.

One day, when I have the money, I'd like to get a steel CCF frame, stick a 6" 10mm slide on it, put all aftermarket parts and add a Cominolli safety, just so that I would have a Glock with no Glock parts, and the pistol would just be the exact opposite of a normal Glock. Just for giggles.
