I finally did it.
I've had a Glock model 22 (40S&W) for years and it has not seen the range in most of those years. The Glock grip is not comfortable to me; it is not at a comfortable angle (I LIKE the angle if a 1911), it is too big for me (a 1911 is slightly small for me) and the balance is not to my liking.
I read an article on the ROBAR frame from CCF RaceFrames and it looks quite good. I want more weight so I ordered the SS frame with the narrow back strap (supposed to duplicate the 1911 grip angle). I looks like it will be delivered to my smithie late next week. He committed to way less than half day to install everything so I'm ANXIOUS to see how this will come out.
Will it feel like a DAO 1911? No way. Will it improve on the things I dislike in the Glocks? I really hope so.

At least I won't have to burp it any more
