Thinking of getting a NIB Glock 19 this coming gunshow at reliant center. If its a gen 3 gun, are all these have the improved mag follower to enhanced feeding reliablity? How do they look like compared to an older mag since I havent own a glock yet, thanks.

Any gen 3 9mm should have the newest follower, I think. It's the .40 S&Ws that went through an additional generation. My 23 never had a problem with the older (still gen 3) style, though.

I've never had any feeding problems with a glock, YMMV.
I even have some original non-drops that work fine. Just a non issue for this ol' glockhead;) .

The only thing I remember, was some of the 2001-2004 3rd Gen made G19s were having failure-to-feed problems (some JHP rounds were nose driving into the barrel feed ramp) when using the ten round G19 mags that had the old 2183 followers. The cure that seemed to fix most of those G19s that were having the problem feeding certain JHPs using the ten round mags was to replace the 2183 follower with the 9mm3 follower. I believe that most of those same folks never had a single JHP FTF problem with the pre-ban fifteen round G19 mags (if one could afford them back in the dark AWB days). Of course the newer now, post-ban, manufactured fifteen round G19 mags work awesome in any G19.
