Tried moutning a Tru-Glo optic onto the plate for the Glock 40 MOS and it was a loose fit. Reading the instructions it says the #2 plate (Trijicon RMR pattern) for the MOS is the one to use, but the 10mm MOS plates are different than 9mm MOS plates.

Question I have is if I get the standard MOS plates that come with the #2 plate will those mount to the 10mm Glock slides?

I'm basically hoping that the smaller plates will mount to the 10mm Glock slide, then if they do hope that the fit with the Tru-Glo optic will also be good, which given my luck it probably won't.

The MOS plates are the same size. The TruGlo optic might not fit the MOS cut perfectly. I have a Holosun 507C on my Glock 41 and there's a bit of a gap.

I would imagine the Trijicon pattern is exactly the same between plates, so I guess I'm gonna have to measure the diameters of the posts and report back because there is a lot of side to side wiggle when I mount the TruGlo onto the plate

The round posts or lugs on Glock plate are measuring .146" and the posts on the TruGlo plate that attaches the pic rail to the optic are .152", the actual diameter of the holes on the optic are .153-.154"

So, either the lugs/posts on the Glock plates are way undersize or the holes on the TruGlo are way oversize. Can anybody tell me which is which?

Oof, big thread on TOS about Glock MOS plates, people are all saying the same things. I saw that FCD's plates were the best and problem free so that's what I got for my own G45 MOS.

Could you send me a link, I need to do more research into this.

I looked up blueprints to see what the spec diameter is for the alignment bosses/lugs/posts are for the Trijicon RMR pattern and could only find one, but the diameter was spec'd to 3.9mm, which is .153", so it appears that the Glock plates I have (that came free with the gun) are undersize and out of spec.

I might have to call Glock and TruGlo on this and see what they say. Should probably call TruGlo anyway since I don't know if the optic is even recommended for 10mm.
