Glock saftey check

Whats going on fellas!

I recently did some mods to my pistol for range/competition use.
Anyway I added a reduced power striker spring, a reduced power recoil spring, and a competition trigger spring, and a few other mods not relevant to my question.

I noticed, after installing these parts, my trigger safety would not fully reset 100% of the time. So, in turn, I changed my trigger spring back to stock, which cured that problem.

My question is, is the any way for me to check my drop saftey to see if its working correctly?

if you look in the manual (available online) there is a check the exact steps escape me at the moment so i wont try.
another way i read of (part of a torture test) is take a primed case and drop it?! but i dont think you want to take that route

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the manual only tells you how to check your firing pin safety, and trigger saftey. Nothing on the the drop saftey.

The drop safety is engaged whenever the trigger is forward....the crucifix of the trigger bar is held up by the design of the trigger mechanism housing thus not letting the crucifix drop downward releasing the firing pin in case it is dropped.

I understand how it works. What I am asking, is there a way to check it?

According to "The Complete Glock Reference Guide", published by ptooma productions, there are 2 tests for safeties on the Glock, trigger and firing pin but no mention of a drop safety test. If you look at the position of the curciform (slide removed) you will see that it rests on a raised shoulder and it must be moved to the rear in order for it to cock the fireing pin and drop down to release the pin to fired the round. If the trigger is forward, the curciform is in the "parked" position and it is not possible for it to drop without moving the trigger to the rear. There is no functioning test, just is it where it should be when the trigger is forward? If it is it works. Not too complicated, is it?
