Seen "Tactical Arms" thur night the show was about glocks, Larry Vickers said stock plastic sights where crap and i have to agree with him.So i am going to replace mine but not sure witch way to go so what do you think are good sights ,best place to get them and who to get to put 'em on.I am thinking TRUGLO TFOs if you know anything about these or have some on your glock chime in with your pro's/con's.

Armorer here. They are not "crap" exactly, just low cost. Why Glock still uses them, I don't know. The front sight does have a tendency to come off with rugged use and are easy to replace. They do make a steel front sight which is very solid.

The factory rears work fine for me and I often use them with a tritium front.

My preference is Meprolight because they have a larger white ring and brighter lamps than Trijicons.

lots of choices. I decided on AmeriGlo-and they have lots of choices. Their prices are very reasonable. Type GSSF into the code and get a 20% discount. Glock Talk forum under optics has a lot of discussion on sights and many are regarding Ameriglo.

I have TFO's on my XD45 and XD9sc. I also have trijicons on a couple of my Berettas. My Glocks have factory night sights. The TFOs are unbelievably bright. The only drawback is their large physical size. I find the white outline around the Trijicons helps me pick up the target better during daylight shooting, but nothing beats the TFOs in darkness.

I use both XS Big Dot's on my Glock 27 and TRUGLO's on my Glock 22. I am building another Glock 22 for the ESP division in IDPA an will be using the Ameriglo ProGlo tritium front with an Ameriglo Pro Operator tritium rear.
If you have a compact or sub compact Glock. I highly recommend the XS Big Dot setup. 15 yards and in all you have to do it "Dot the I".

I like the TFO's better than any sight I own. The way the FO light up in dim light is far better than any Tritium only sight I have seen. Any light for that matter.
