I've got a Glock 21 Gen 3 45 ACP on which I recently added a red dot sight, my eyesight just isn't what it used to be :(

Anyway, I'd like to improve the trigger pull over the stock Glock. This is a range toy for me so I'm not overly concerned about lightening up on the pull weight, within the margin of safety for range use of course.

I don't mind doing the work myself as long as it' within reach of a home 'smith, but I don't want to spend more on specialty tools than the gun is worth.

The completed pain point is $100, anything more I'll just shoot it the way it is.

Help me out here team Glock!

I used to put ghost connectors in all my glocks. It does help some, but ive given up with mods on my glocks and put them all back (except for night sights). I just trained up to the stock trigger and its fine for me now. Tough transition for a single action revolver guy to do striker fired triggers at first but its ok. Reason i stopped is reliability, never a problem with the ghost connector but a number of supposed high quality parts failed over the years while all the stock parts have been without incident.

This is exactly the complaint I've noted about the Ghost modifications. I asked a friend about this prior to posting, he recommended Ghost as well which is why I researched it. Thanks for sharing your experience Obturation.

A reduced weight plunger spring with a machined plunger (striker interceptor, drop safe thing - i call it a plunger) does lighten / smooth trigger with no real possibility for failure, just doesnt do a lot. I still have one in my g30sf cause the original had the plating flaking off it . Not too sure why. That will add some grit to trigger feel if its getting flakey looking. None of my other ones have that issue.

I've found that the best value to improve the Glock trigger, especially in later Gens, is the Taran Tactical connector kit. You really can't beat it for < $50

Going to give the Taran Tactical kit a try, hard to beat for $42 shipped, has tons of 5-star reviews.

Thanks!
