Glock underwater - firing in trash can

Someone sold a DVD a while back, with underwater shots of Glocks being shot. Although the fascination of Glocks being shot underwater escapes me.......

Agree.

Even though Glocks are certainly durable enough to take such abuse, I cannot see the value of such an exercise other than to serve as a novelty or source of entertainment. If done incorrectly, you can damage your pistol, or more importantly and possibly even permanently, yourself.

Nice to know that the gun has the capacity to do so, but past that, I cannot see it ever being a 'real-world' application of a defensive sidearm seeing as to how few self-defense situations (other than shark attacks) actually occur under water.

Guess it'd be nice to have the G23 in the wetsuit in case any bluegill or largemouth bass attack me. Dayum dangerous finned beasts....

You can drive a car with your feet if you want to. Doesn't make it a good idea.

I'm reminded of the scene in "Tin Cup" where Kevin Costner brags to Don Johnson that he cleared the back nine holes with a 4 iron. "Did YOU ever do THAT?"

"Hell, it never occurred to me to TRY."

There was a thread on this a while back. The moron is illegally shooting in a subdivision, unsafely using a firearm, and giving ammo to all the antis that say all gun owners are irresponsible. Why the hell would you want to shoot a gun underwater?
