Hey guys and gals,

So I came across this YouTube video today and thought I would share it as it was very recently uploaded. Basically, this guy try's to jam his Glock...with...wait for it.......JAM!:evil::evil:

Has anyone here ever tried something similar with their handguns? (doesn't have to be a Glock )

I think I'll put my can opener away now...... :D

It should go well with the Kool-aid.

Love the gangsta' hat and shades. Doesn't make him look like a tool at all:rolleyes:

If you want to jam a glock, put a mako optics rail on it and let someone limp wrist it. Or you can use a g17 may in a g26. Those are the only two times I have personally seen a glock jam.

Let me see one - I'll make that mother jam up. Fill it up with STP and see how it likes THEM apples!

I took a new Bulgarian Makarov and tried to make it malfunction, in a thousand rounds, by sinking it in mud, etc, etc.

I use G17 mays (sic) in my G26, with no problems. I also use an A&G sleeve, which prevents the G17 may's (sic) rocking in the may (sic) well. ;)

There is no need to go through all this. That gun was designed in late forties and entered service in early 50s and is still used in Russia as m&p sidearm. We all know it is spartan yet very robust and reliable design.:) The guy with Glock and jam requires no comment.:barf:

I don't usually participate in these turd-slinging threads, but I couldn't help myself.

All you have to do to jam my dad's Gen 3 Glock 19 is shoot it. Jams right up. Every once in a while you'll get lucky and get a shot off, and will be very briefly excited that it worked correctly only to get immediately pissed at the hot casing dribbling down your forehead and into your shirt collar.

Has your Dad contacted Glock? They might fix it for free. I don't own Glocks anymore because I don't like the grip angle, but all the ones I owned in the past were very reliable guns.

You just hurled biggest handful of crap in this thread.

No, but I need to encourage him to do that. The gun was a retirement gift and he really wants to like it, but since it hasn't acted right he hasn't spent a lot of time worrying about it. I know Glock's reputation, and I know that hundreds of thousands of Glock owners aren't all wrong. His just happens to be a lemon.

Admittedly, but it's all in good fun, right? I'm not smearing the brand as a whole, but this is the only Glock I've ever had personal experience with and it is definitely not of the supernatural quality the Internet would have me believe it should be. And honestly, even when the gun runs correctly, I haven't found it to be anything special. It shoots no better or worse than any other gun I've shot. So while I have nothing against Glock or Glock owners and lovers, I have to admit to rolling my eyes when I hear or read about Glock's superiority.

No doubt Gaston does the same when he reads about yours.

Hilarious. I don't claim to be superior to anybody in anything. Does my bad experience with a Glock somehow invalidate your good experience(s)? Or does it otherwise offend your sensibilities? I love how no one has a sense of humor when it comes to this manufacturer. If I had said something bad about Taurus, you'd probably give me an amen and chime in with a story of your own. My only point was that, while it's wonderful this guy's gun can run with jelly in it, we have one that has never worked out of the box. I happen to know that other people have had problems with theirs. These facts lead me to conclude that Glock, for all the good things it might be, ain't perfect. Just like me. Just like you. Just like any other gun manufacturer. Lighten up.

All in good fun, paravil.

I own a Taurus and a Glock. The Taurus is new acquisition I have yet to range test, but the Glock has proven utterly reliable for a couple of years. So have many other guns from various manufacturers that reside in my safe.

No offense was intended. It's all in good fun.

All I need to do to jam my Glock 22 is shoot semi wadcutters through it. I'll have maybe 1 jam every 50 rounds.

Weird. That's pretty much all my G23 eats and I don't have any issues with them.

I've had a total of one or two jams in the couple of years I've had my Glock. It's proven utterly reliable for me. Of course, I haven't tried anything silly to break it either.

Mine has been 100% with regular flat point, truncated cone ammo, but SWCs can cause some hangups.

It might be my reloads. I have several guns and NONE of them can feed SWCs as reliably as other bullet shapes. I've tried a variety of OALs and charge weights, but to no avail.
