What Glock17 holster and mag pouch do you all use for IDPA competitions? Also, is it paddle or belt?

I use a Blade Tech belt holster. In fact, I own several Blade Tech holsters. I've found them to be just fine for IDPA.

You'll probably want to buy a Kydex holster and there are several brands to chose from.

Comp Tac

I use the Comp Tac Belt holster. Made very well, great fit, wears great and, has a good price to go with it. I have one holster that is about 10 years old an no issues ever.

The holster I use is the Belt holster and it is $68. The mag pouches are great also and they run $25 or you can get the double for $50. Here is the link.

The Blackhawk CQC is pretty good for IDPA or USPSA too. Still, Bladetech or Comp-Tac or VERY solid recommendations. Can't go wrong with any of 'em.

I use Blade Tech paddle holsters because they're good and I like the easy on and off aspect. For about $20.00 an Uncle Mikes kydex holster will work fine for Shooting IDPA.

Blade Tech Stingray Belt Holster. It is IDPA legal, while the Tec-Loc and the Uncle Mikes are not. Some Comp-Tec are and some aren't. At club level matches it doesn't really matter, but if you go to a state match or Nationals, they will check your holster. If it doesn't pass, you get to beg, borrow or steal one that does. The basic test is that there is no light between the body of the holster and your body. That includes through the belt loop.

Picky rules yes, but they are still the rules.

I use this guy, www.kissholsters.webs.com. He is new to the holster making game, but his work is top notch. His stuff is IDPA approved, and has a fairly quick turn around time (about a week). I don't use his mag holders, I use mag holders made by a guy on Glock Talk (tactical kydex). Once again top notch stuff at a very reasonable price.

Holster was $45 shipped.

Mag pouch (double) was $21 shipped.

I am very pleased with both.
