So I have my eyes on a Glock 23. I did some research and learned about a aftermarket 9mm conversion barrel. I like the idea of having both a Glock 23 and 19. But are there any bad effects with accuracy or reliability?

The only issues that I have heard of (from the forum across the street) is that SOMETIMES you have to replace the ejector when switching from .40 to 9mm.

Of course, you know that you need 9mm magazines, too.

I've read and heard many good things about Lone Wolf conversion barrels.

Personally, I would use this set-up at the range, but, I wouldn't use it for defensive purposes. (Again, that's my personal preference!)

I have a G35 with a 40-9 conversion barrel from Lone Wolf Dist. Accuracy is excellent, but because I was using cheap Winchester 9mm I was having stovepipes. Just need to change the ammo brand...also had to pick up a G17 mag.

If you do get it, I have a G19 magazine available.

Count, Winchester has never given me any problems in any of my 9mm guns, Glock included. You may getting stovepipes because the G35 most likely uses a heavier recoil spring for the .40S&W round. I'd bet you'd get excellent results with any factory ammo if you put in the recoil spring from a G34.
