However, I guess I just have a higher standard of personal responsibility in ensuring the safety of my loved ones and myself

BS you do, some of us just don't have as tight a tinfoil hat on - I also don't wear a gun while in the shower

[QUOTEI bet people thought that at the WTC until the first bombing. London has had it's share of Terrorist attacks too][/QUOTE]

Really, this is your best? and just WTH would you carrying at the WTC have done to prevent a 747 crashing into it? get a grip, or stopping one of those London Bombings? and how many have there been lately? Oh wait..... please

It really is simple, Disney is ANTI GUN, if it bothers you SO much that you can't brush your teeth without a gun, let alone go to see Mickey, then just go to the beach - Mickey doesn't WANT your kind there anytime, so why enrich them?

These old lame excuses about "what if" on a one in a billion odds event are really silly - if you are that scared, then stay in your hilltop bunker - that will be your only safe location..in your opinion

Dude, switch to decaf.

How many armed robberies happen in/near the park? How many attempted rapes/attempted rapes? How many other violent crimes?

You rarely hear of them because because as the victim, you'll be talking to a Disney lawyer with a checkbook and a NDA at the same time you are talking to the detective or while getting stitched up in the ER.

I just drove back from there today. No posted signs prohibiting carry on property. They look in bags, but not on person. That being said, I felt no need to carry there. I believe Georgia is pretty good with car carry. My reciprocity doesn't allow me to carry outside of the car in Georgia.

I've carried into Disney. Its against thier rules and they reserve the right to remove me from the park if they somehow find out (J-Frame IWB its highly unlikely) but thats a risk I MUST take since they do not offer armed security to follow you around at one of the most juicy terrorist targets.

Now that's funny. Not that you carry, I think you have every right to that. But thinking a handgun or even a couple of armed security guys following you around would be any help when the bomb goes off in the trashcan or around the terrorist's waist is laughable.

I carry in the enchanted kingdom, its my right, not a privelage.Easy to bypass their joke of security.I'm sure Mickey and Donald are highly trained to provide security for me and my family.

You have more to fear taking your family to I Drive in Orlando than you do at Disney

If you do not like their rules, why go there and support an organization that is vocally very anti-gun?
