Golani .223/5.56 Are they Good?

I was notified that my order for a Golani had shipped to my FFL Dealer, My question is: Are they anything comparable to the M4 or Ruger Mini 14 I already have? My M4 will shoot circles around the Mini but how will the Golani be provided it isn't worn out junk?

The barrels are new and US made on those. I shot a Galil that was built by a local smith who specializes in AKs, using the same parts kit and ORF receiver as Century with the "Golani Sporter". This was just before Century decided to start putting these together. It shot fairly well. A bit better than the Mini-14 I remember. Not quite as well as an average AR, but definitely not bad for an AK derivative. Assuming that the Century monkey's don't completely screw the build, it should be a decent shooter.

If you are willing to spend a decent chunk of change buy a IMI Galil. Otherwise you are just driving a Fiero with a Lambo' Countach body kit....
