Went to a rather new LGS today and traded 500 45acp mixed head stamp, mixed primer size, once fired brass, for 500 new .357 mag. brass of mixed head stamp, Win., Starline, and RP brass. I was completely shocked that the owner didn't want any cash, just straight up brass, for brass. He said he loads and sells a lot of 45 acp, so .357 mag. isn't of much use to him. But what really stumped me is he said he will make the same trade for just about any brass I have, and will also trade brass for powder or bullets.

My point being, there are still some LGS out there that aren't trying to get rich from this buying craze we're in.

That was an excellent find. I can get 45 brass easier than 357 so I think you did very well.

Who is this guy, I need to meet him! I give away all 45 acp brass I get because I don't have one. .357mag is my bread and butter gun.

    You lucky dog. sheesh!

Oh he is definitely going to get my business. I have a whole lot of respect for shop owners like him.
I was in his shop about a week ago trying to buy that .357 mag brass from him, and that was when he told me he would much rather trade, than to sell it too me. Kind of takes me back to a time when bartering was a common thing within this hobby.
