Good, Cheap AK 47 Magazines?

Those from Buds look like they'd be fine. I always like the steel mags.

Keep an eye on aimsurplus.com too, sometimes they get shipments in, but you have to act fast, even if they get a big lot in they can go quick. I snagged some Bulgarian (I think that's where they came from) plastic mags for $7.99 about six months ago.

Apex gun parts and CDNN used to have pretty cheap prices but I just checked and neither are very great. I'd be careful with Buds, their pictures sometimes aren't the same as what you're getting. Steel european magazines are the only way to go IMO. Hopefully MAGPUL's AK mags they're coming out with will be as good as their PMAGs.

This place has a decent price on them as well. Never ordered from them before.

Centerfire Systems has the metal gray finish Korean AK mags at 3 for $21 in their latest catalog. These have the rib down the back.

I got a few when they had them for $5 a good while back. I've had no issues with them.

Ya I lucked out and had ordered 26 AK mags the week before sandy hook. Apex could have cancelled the order and sold them at triple the price but they were good and made sure I was taken care of.

Yugo mags are, in my opinion, the best choice right now.

They're nicely blued rather than painted or parkerized. They have bolt hold open followers so you don't have to go through the whole *Click* - "Uh Oh" - *Reload* process. They're also ~$15 right now. I bought 10 from SG Ammo and 8 out of 10 were in excellent condition. The other two were what I would call "Good" condition. I stripped the bluing off and refinished with a bottle of Oxpho blue that I already had on hand. They are nice mags and I like the bolt hold open feature. I'll happily pay $15 for the Yugos than $10 for Romanians. YMMV...

Apex has been running a 10 for $90 sale on combloc mags for about two months. I bought 10. They are typical surplus combloc steel mags.
