Shot some clay pigeons with my 12 Ga. and some with my 20 Ga. Massacred some cans with my .22 revolver and shot dead several paper bad guys with my GP-100 and administered the coup de grace more than a few times with my backup snubbie.

I finished the day by putting 100 rounds thru my .45 Colt Redhawk. The final cylinder full I shot at 50 yards, single action, slow fire. Holstering the gun between shots and resting my old tired eyes by gazing off into the distance at the yellow/green spring color of the hardwood forest. Repeated 6 times - draw, carefully aim, fire, holster the gun and gaze off into the forest for a full minute.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I went to retrieve the target ... good way to finish up the day.

I shot up the 50 yard swinging metal target with my 2.5" Model 19 and my 4" Model 28. I hadn't shot outdoors since last October.

Nice day of shooting. However, the #@$* black flies are beginning to hatch up here.
