Awhile back I had asked about light weight bullets for deer hunting for use in a Remington 700 7mm Mag. After trying a couple different brands of powder I have settled on IMR 4350. Here is the recipe I used and unless something happens between now and November this will be the gun I hunt with this Fall.

Powder: IMR 4350 - 60.5grs
Bullet: 140gr Nosler/Winchester CT Ballistic Silver Tip
C.O.A.L. = 3.334
Primer: WLRM
Case Length: 2.485

Here is a scan of the last 4 rounds I had loaded shot from 100 yards.

Glad to see that you seem to have a good load going for you.
A couple more groups of 5 shots will verify the load as a keeper and not just a coincidence.

Looks good!

Do you have a chronograph? Have you clocked the velocity on this load?

Here's the first 4 shot group (1st shot was high to the right. I adjusted the scope and the next 3 were almost touching). I will load some more and give it another go before hunting season. For now I am very pleased with this round for punching holes in paper.

Sorry, I do not have a chronograph. It is one of the recommended loads for a 140gr Nosler Partition bullet on IMR's web site.

http://data.hodgdon.com/cartridge_load.asp

They show a velocity of 2877ft/s for 59grs (min) and 3045ft/s for 62.8grs. (max). I'm guessing this round is probably around 3000ft/s using 60.5grs. I started at 59grs and the best I could do was 2" groups.

No worries. Accuracy is more important to me than velocity anyway. I was just curious if you had clocked it.

I doubt you are hitting 3,000 fps with that load, however. You are nearly 1 1/2g below max and the velocity at max is is listed at 3,045 fps. I'd put in more in the ballpark of 2,930-2,950 fps. Not that it really matters (except for hold over at longer ranges). Point that combo at game, pull the trigger, stuff will die.

That'll work, I killed way over 100 deer for research with that bullet in a .280. You're probably loaded to about .280 velocity too.

Try 120gr Nosler Ballistic Tip or Sierra Pro Hunter and min. charge of IMR 4064 or IMR 4350. Great accuracy and very little kick.
