Good opportunity to hit a poll and help CA - solicited by Rep. Davis to my email.

I voted.

They're gonna figure out that a pro-gun crowd nuked their poll. They can't all be idjits, but then again, they did make a poll where it was super easy to vote again and again. It lets them know we're getting organized and know how to spread the word. I guess that's one good thing Gore did, singlehandedly created the internet.

Someone on the other side is flooding it too. They are knocking it down FAST I can't keep up, even with my uber voting.

put my votes forward. if it helps you poor folks in california its one poll I sincerely hope makes a difference. though is more likely to make the shredder or editors desk.

I dont know if this will work for everyone but I dont see why not, and maybe you all figured it out on your own anyway, but you dont have to wait for the reload to finish reloading to register the votes it will count them as fast as you press the button while holding enter so Ive been walking my mouse button like the trigger on a paintball gun

Done. When they get results they don't like, they'll just ignore them. At least they can't say they weren't warned.

What great comic relief!

I have checked the results on this thing at least three times through out my day and added at least 300 clicks. I just laugh everytime I come back and see how wasted the poll is. We are up to like 28,000 votes right now! We had about 70 votes 27 hours ago! LOL! :D

Here is the thing though. I just put my tin-foil hat back on after a long day of teaching and suddenly the government wasn't blocking the most obvious point of this whole poll. Yes, the computer mouse industry is most certainly behind this poll. Think of how many clicks you have clicked on your mouse in the last 27 hours? Hundreds. They are attempting to wear out our mice and get us to buy new ones! Yes, sneaky indeed. I for one will not tolerate this! I refuse to cast one more vote in this poll!

Ok, I just did another 100. My tin foil hat fell off and I forced a hundred through before I could pick it back up and put it on again. :uhoh:

I have been told that every website can determine which website visitors come from immediately prior. If that's true, they can count the number of votes that came from here (for example) and simple eliminate them. So, for future "poll nuking", go to Google or the DNC :p website before entering the poll website.

Not true, at least not for that site. If someone has access to www.house.gov weblogs, they can figure out how many people arrived at that poll from THR. They can even get an accurate idea which of those people voted, but they can't figure out who voted how, at least not from web logs.

If you enter the URL manually, there's no way for them to know which site you came from.

The polling system may log ip addresses, but if so I think it's likely that it would immediately disgard duplicate votes, which it's not doing.

All four questions are now showing at least 95% in favor of the correct answer. Over 61,000 votes and climbing.

What have I done?!

What happened? Did it automatically reset due to going over 100k, or did someone reset it?

We're at 100% on all the correct answers with a bit over 100 votes.
