All I'm finding in the regular haunts are kits -- complete lower parts sets, complete stock sets, etc.

Can anyone recommend a source where I can order the following pieces, new or old rifle pulloffs? (I checked gunpartscorp.com, but their pulloffs are running more than new parts. :scrutiny: )

1. Old-style shorty CAR buttstock, with spring, buffer, and castle nut but no tube or rear plate?

2. full-length buffer, tube, and spring - but no stock?

3. pistol grip screws?

4. Buffer stops and springs?

5. "Real" A1 upper receivers without the brass deflector

www.ar15.com's equipment exchange?
There are always tons of those little parts at gun shows if there are any near your neck of the woods (there's one here this weekend). It might be a good option since shipping costs on little lightweight stuff can add up.
I think there are a bunch of small AR parts near the back of Olympic Arms' catalog too (www.olyarms.com).

Brownells has most of what you listed too. Great price if you have your 01 or 03 discount.

You have to dig a little, but you can buy the little parts from bushmaster on their website. I just recently bought a couple of A1 rear sight detent springs and a couple of rear sight drum roll pins. All for less than 10 bucks if you include shipping.
