I am using the one that came with the gun, but it feels cheap and I am afraid it’s eventually going to get too soft / worn out to provide adequate trigger protection.

I don’t want a Remora, nothing wrong with it but it adds thickness.

This probably rules out DeSanfis Nemesis as well. I heard they are pretty close.

An ideal holster would be thin, inconspicuous (not printing as an obvious holster), with good trigger protection, staying in the pocket on draw, and not uncomfortable to carry.

I don’t mind kydex or leather or any other material.

Any suggestions ?

Not sure about 'adding thickness' But I use DeSantis exclusively and DeSantis Nemesis Cargo is my go-to pocket holster.

I don't have a LCP or pocket holster but a friend of mine has both. He has about a half dozen different brand pocket holsters for his LCP that he let me try and the only one that I liked was his Sticky Holster.

For the LCP, I just put it by itself in the pocket. Now for my 642, Kahr, etc., I like the DeSantis versions

Started with a Sticky Holster. Have used it for several years. Staying with a Sticky.

Got a Sticky for the spare magazine and removed the belt loop. Goes in the theater ticket pocket.

Thank you all.

Ended up ordering a Sticky. I read that it’s very similar to Remora but thinner. I like Remora except for the thickness, so seems like a no-brainer.

Sorry but I think it's too dangerous. The trigger needs to be protected.
If it is the only thing in the pocket, nothing will catch the trigger. And I only carry it when wearing those lightweight basketball-type nylon shorts - the ones with the drawstring for a belt - so any added bulk or weight and accidential exposure might happen! (And I don't mean the gun!) :D

I'd be even more concerned not using a holster in lightweight shorts like the ones you describe since something could hook the trigger through the shorts. Not that I'm advocating not using a holster in jeans or khakis, but thicker cotton at least has some rigidity to it and doesn't stretch so it's be much harder to pull the trigger from outside of the pocket.

I regularly carry an LCP in a Nemesis in basketball shorts around the house. The holster is so light it adds virtually nothing as far as weight.

Unload your pistol, rack the slide, stick it in your shorts, and see if you can dry-fire it from the outside. If you can, so can a freak accident.

Sticky holster for me.

Just got SM-2 sticky for mine. It seems just a little loose around the gun. Not really an issue in the pocket, but I’d be concerned with the gun riding up when carried IWB. Any way to “mold” it to the pistol for better retention?
