Good SD Ammo for a Colt 25 Junior?

No... my instructor asked the class who had a .25 and for those who raised their hand he asked if they intended to carry it. If the reply was yes he told them to carry a brick it would be more effective. The .25 is an up close and personal "Belly Gun" it wont be effective if you try to distance yourself from your attacker.
 
I'd bet on a Marine with a 6 shot .25 anyday ;)


I guess a .25 in the pocket is better than a .45 in the glove box . If a buying a newer small gun/larger caliber like the KelTec is out , then the .25 is it .

No Silver Tips made in 25acp . Just that "Expanding Point" with the BB in the cavity . I'd agree and recommend ball or possibly Speer Gold Dot . Fire a couple mags to check reliability first though .
