I'm very close to getting a Single Action BlackHawk 357

Does anyone have any awesome experience with a leather shoulder holster for single action pistols?

I have been looking around but I'm just not finding anything special. So I'm going to go with the one that is most sturdy. Any idea's ladies & gents?

The classic solution is a drop leg western gun fighter style. Extra points if it sits at a nice jaunty angle across the hips..... :D

I'm guessing that it doesn't really fit in with how you're using the gun though

Plan on carrying while roaming the swamps of FL ...so I'm sure that could be arranged =)

Although, I do prefer it being higher up. That think swamp water creeps up rather high pretty quickly. lol

Well, if you're going to go and BATHE with it then sure, I can see the need for a high mount.... :D

Just remember that if it gets up to your armpits to drain the gun before fighting off the 'gators... :D

Plenty of custom cowboy leather makers out there.

Either do a Google search or go over to www.sassnet.com and look at their list of affiliated vendors at the bottom of their home page

Check out Triple K. I got one of their holsters as a Christmas gift for my New Vaquero and I like it. I think I recall seeing shoulder holsters on their site.

Here is a very nice holster made by the Idaho Leather Company Model 83S. The leather is extremely high quality.
