Any help with this one? I understand some of them are plastic, and, frankly, junk. Any well made ones worth investing in? thanks.

+1 Uplula.

I saw an orange-colored version on Hickok's bench, lately. I would definitely recommend a high visibility color. I love mine, but it's a pain finding it in a bag of black guns and mags.

Going back to the beginning of the OP's posting history, there is no indication of what type of .45 he owns.

So maybe he needs to come back and tell us what he is asking about?

Thermactor, I agree, but it wouldn't be the 1st time someone started a thread in the wrong sub-forum. :)

Dunno, but he asked for info on speedloaders, not mag loaders.
Maybe he'll chime in and clarify. Or not, as too often happens.

You're right, RCModel. It's a Colt Model 1911, .45 ACP. Serial Number 590XX. Old. The real deal. Now that you know what I have, do you have a speedloader for me?

kc: Thanks. Watched a video. Looks great! No wonder it is made so well. Israelis make great arms products.

I have given several of the Uplula's as gifts to new shooters after I've taken them to the range a few times. If anyone finds a hi-vis one let me know. The Uplula is awesome, but I too have a hard time finding it in the bottom of my bag mixed in with all of the other black stuff.

Some blaze orange spray paint should solve the problem.

There is only one speedloader, UPLULA is it's name. As a RSO, I watch people try to jamb rounds into mags and I just hand my loader to hundreds of people per month and watch them smile. I make them snap a phone picture of the name and remind them of all the upcoming gift giving/receiving holidays. I bet I have been responsible for thousands of these things being sold over the years.

I have marked mine with a blob of paint. I am still using/lending the first one I bought over four years ago. I recently bought a pink one and keep it in my locker just in case someone throws mine in their range bag by mistake.
