Went coyote hunting with a 17 year old high school student today, his family had asked me to go deer hunting with them earlier this year, then I used a Winchester 30-30, today I brought my AR. I noticed him eyeing it, once we got back I asked if he wanted to try it out. Big smile. Its a Colt SP2 target model Government Series with a Colt 4X scope and delta cheek pad, we were shooting at shotgun clays at about 100 yds, he was used to standard scope set up and took a few rounds to get used to it, then he really started knocking them down. I seriously had more fun watching him shoot it than shooting it myself.
