Ok, currently I live in CT, a state which still has its own AWB. I want to buy an AR upper, but must comply with the law. I looked at the Bushmaster, and found something interesting: on No-ban section they have a model with Izzy flash suppressor, and on Post-ban section a model with Izzy brake (and BATF approved). I really cannot tell the difference between the Izzy flash suppressor and Izzy brake! Could someone point them out for me? The Izzy brake on the Post-ban model is way far cooler than the original Mini-Y comp muzzle brake or AK74 brake. Are they legal in my state?
I also found that Rock River Arms has AR modles with Mock suppressor, and they also stated these are AWB Compliant, does this mean that BATF consider it as a muzzle brake and I could buy a RRA with this Mock suppressor in CT too?
Sorry to bother you guys (other than from CA, CT, MA, NY, NJ, ???) with the "AWB" word again, I wish one day people from all states NEVER ever need to mention this freak word any more!
