I stopped at a local gun shop and picked up a weaver 93 scope base for my 7615 in .223, I have been shooting it with factory sights and while they are ok for close range small targets and distance bigger targets, the front bead covers up quite a bit of the smaller targets at longer ranges. so I am going to mount a mimi 4x burris on it for targets out to 200 yards, I wanted one in .308 but never found one for sale so I bought a .223 on close out at a good price.

Those always seemed neat. Ive wanted a 760, but never got one. Closest I've come was one of those a few years ago.

Good for you. You got on like mine with the Wilson ghost ring sights. With my old eyes I can still shoot so so with the sights, but I've got a TRS 25 sitting around that's probably going to end up on it.

Yep. Ghost rings here also. Got a base mounted awhile ago. Still deciding on what scope i want. If Remington wouldn't have been greedy with their prices, I believe these would've been in the lineup longer.

I had one of those when they first came out. It was one of the most natural pointing rifles I have ever shot. Just look at the target and raise the gun. You were in perfect alignment. I guess thats to be expected since its just a shotgun with a rifle barrel on it.

I didn't like the LOP. It always snagged on my shirt and that gooey butt pad just made it even worse. It was the main reason I sold the gun. I should have just bought a 20ga youth stock and kept the rifle.

I never added a scope to mine. Out to 100 yards it worked for me. I never shot it further than that. I would happily trade my DPMS AR-15 Panther Carbine for one of those in excellent condition.

Considering GB prices for the last few years, you'd have to add a few hundred dollars.

I liked the one I had but I wouldn't go in debt for another one. After all I did sell the one I had.
