Glad to hear it, Mate. you should post some pics on the "show me your reloading bench" post once you've settled a bit.

Getting a new progressive is a beautiful thing.

Cheers, Mate

Excellent choice for a progressive press. Did you get the case feeder too? I have had mine over two and a half years and have probably ran 10,000-15,000 rounds through it without any problems. There is a learning curve and for me it took about a year to really understand and get the feel when it properly setup. Now it is as smooth as glass.

WELCOME! & CONGRATULATIONS!
BEWARE THE DISEASE!
I have loaded on a single stage press since 1960. About 17-18 years ago; I bought a used Dillon 550 for $75 at an estate sale. It cost me over $25,000 to $35,000 in the long run LOL.
BEWARE THE DISEASE!
Since I could load pistol ammo so quickly and so cheaply, I shot more (lots more) and became more proficient at pistol shooting.:) I decided to see how good I was, so I needed to shoot competitively. In order to be competitive, I discovered I needed better pistols, and in order to have even more fun, I needed to compete in several divisions (more pistols).

Next, I needed a more versatile and higher capacity press, so I purchased the Hornady LNL Auto (still load one cartridge with 550) and lots of extras to go with that LNL. I used to buy powder by the 5 to 8 lb jugs in 4-6 jug lots, bullets by 10K to 20K in several weight and caliber, and primers locally by 10K or more batches, and feel obligated to be well stocked on all components.

And, OH YEAH, don't get me $tarted on my kid$ $hooting.:(

too late!!!!
I bought the L-N-L to replace my loadmaster (hated it) only had it
for three months. I still have a single stage ( might replace it ).

I'm loading 45acp, .40s&w, .223Rem .
i don't know if i want to reload 9mm

JWalt01,

Please do yourself a favor and keep your single stage. Even if you want another single stage, Keep it. I think everyone should have two single stage presses or at least 1 at the bear minimum.

Good luck with the L-N-L, Mate.
