Got my ROA back from Clement

Ok...So I finally got to taking a couple of pictures. The Power Custom stainless billet Colt grip frame is fitted to the pistol by David Clement. The fit is perfect.
The second picture is the beveled and serrated front sight. The picture absolutely does not give this justice. It's a big improvement.
I'm sending it to a grip maker recommended by David Clement...this will take..two months...sigh.
Grips...I'm having black Micarta grips for ham sized hands. Micarta was highly recommended if I wanted maximum durability. I had white grips so I think the change and contrast will be pretty cool.
Big question...he mentioned ONE PIECE grips. While I like blind screws. I've never had one piece grips. There is a floating pin in the grip frame you can see in the picture at the base of the spring. That would have to go with one piece grips and I don't think that's a great idea. I'm having trouble figuring how this would work and seems like a giant pain to get on and off for cleaning. Remember...I clean in the pistol in the dishwasher.
