Got myself an AR

+ 1 for the Indian and Arrow thing. You put a couple of hundred rounds though it and it goes bang every time and you hit your target....sounds like u might could trust it!

My brother bought a new Del Ton this past summer and we put a few thousand rounds through it without any issues what so ever.

He has gone nuts with it ever since adding Eotech sights with the 3x zoom, Magpul stock, Bravo Company bolt, Magpul forgrip, Hogue grip, Magpul Battery Assist and a new sling!

He turned this inexpensive AR at $775 into a $2000+ beast!

I do all of the reloading for all of our calibers and I just love shooting the AR with a new batch of V-maxx!

Thanks guys, thats what I like to hear. I guess I need to start adding some accessories. I would like to get several more mags...I would like to have between 5 and 10 30round mags and two 10 rounders for hunting. Want to get some optics for it...preferable red dot, looks like a lot of people here use Eotech which is probably what I will go with (just not sure what model?). I want a decent sling as well. For some reason I inherited my dads side of the family's unsteady hands. Hopefully with some more practice I can overcome that, however a nice sling would aid that a lot...want a tactical type sling. Anything else?

Please check out aimpoint if you are going to look at the EO. It comes down to what you like best but don't limit yourself.
I'd suggest a 2 point sling. I like Vickers but find one you like.

If you're gonna go mag shopping, check out 44mag.com

I've never actually counted the number of mags that I have, but I do know that I can load 1500 rounds into mags so that when I hit the range I don't spend any time reloading. You might also want to invest in a LULA mag loader. It's the next fastest thing to loading from stripper clips.

I'd also suggest getting at least a few 20 round mags. I have 20 or so. You wouldn't think that they'd make much of a difference, but I find them to keep the bulk down when you have the rifle slung and you're hiking through the woods and stuff.

If your looking at EOTech's, check out the 516. I wouldn't bother with night capable ones, unless you plan on going on night ops.

Optics Planet has them for $369 NIB
