I received a newsletter from AR15pro.com that stated this
Exciting Announcement From TGSCOM

NFA laws have been repealed through a long standing court battle in the 7th US Circuit Court. The president of TGSCOM had sued the federal government on the grounds that the NFA law violated the Second Amendment of the Constitution. After heated and lengthy oral arguments, TGSCOM is now able to sell fully automatic weapons to the general public without tax stamps and the additional background check. The one stipulation to the agreement is that fully automatic rifles will be treated like handguns in that they will require a purchaser of 21 and older, the firearm must be transferred in the state of their residence (same as handguns) and that the buyer must submit to all regulations in the state of their residence.

What this means for you
We will now be adding a limited number of fully automatic firearms to our inventory. They will be sold on a first come first served basis. The benefit is that not only can you own them, but they do not have the $20,000 price tag they normally do.

So... Can I legally own a full out in the state of Washington now?
I don't get it.

Mine gives an error stating that too many people are accessing the add to cart page at the same time, I do believe it is an April fools joke, or we would have heard something about this supposed case going on before midnight of the 1st.

I was planning on buying some mags from a tgscom site, reconsidering after that.

Logic says that if something like this was true it would be all over the news media and the antis would be screaming very loudly. It would not come by e-mail.

Yeaaaa if this were true, first I doubt it'd happen on april first of all days :p

Second, I'm pretty sure we would've heard elsewhere about the court case and how it was progressing.

Third, there'd probably be a ton of special news coverage about how machine guns can now be purchased by anyone for not that much cash and for once the media would actually be right about the fact.

I don't care, I'm still gonna have some fun putting a fully auto M4 carbine and a Glock 18 into my online shopping cart. :)

Imagine what it would be like if we had a 2nd Amendment.

Also, make sure to have your water check for Di-Hydrogen Oxide. A few years ago a radio station ran a news story for a couple of hours that Di-Hydrogen Oxide was found in the water supply, but it was determined to be of no health risk.

NavyLT, that's no joke! But it is actually dihydrogen monoxide.

DiHydrogen MonOxide is very dangerous! If you breath it in, you're dead! A lady even died last year from ingesting it during a radio show's contest. It is fatal to all mammals when breathed in, and kills many forms of plantlife too.

It should be banned!!:p

Yeah, it's the primary cause of rust - an enemy to all shooting sportsmen. It must be pretty dangerous since it dissolves a lot of minerals. I generally avoid it like the plague.

Hey now, haha
Just cause I forgot what the date was, and it was late, and I had a few beers doesn't mean I'm stupid!
You guys are just to quick for me :D

The funny thing is, the news media would have a hard time making it look "scary," since they've been showing MACHINE GUNS when talking about SEMI-AUTOS (re: the AW bans) since the late 1980s. A lot of sheeple probably think MGs became legal again then the AW ban sunsetted.

Which raises the question: What would they show to hysteria-hype machine guns? Anti-aircraft artillery? Cluster bombs?

Hmm...
The media has done such a good job convincing eveyong "assault weapons" are machine guns people might not even notice something like this thinking they are already legal. Unless the media was compelled to set the record straight and *gasp* tell the truth!! But that might require research. Nah, we are safe. If we only had a pro gun senate...and congress...and president...

I did get excited this morning when I read my email until I remembered it was April Fools day. Kudos to Eric for the prank, yet darn you for almost getting my hopes up!

Anybody think to forward it to the Bradys?I imagine they would have spent a lot of their resources verifying it...
