Now that I have my new 6 inch GP100 I need a way to carry it in the woods.....What are some of your guys ways of carrying it....I was thinking a shoulder setup of some sort....Not sure yet....Any suggestions would be appreciated....Also pictures help out alot...thanks

I prefer to hide mine in plain sight. It's a 4" kept in a full flap holster, I'm guessing you could get a Triple K for a 6", and it hangs on a fanny pack strap over my hip. It no longer stands out and the eye seems to be drawn to either the water bottles or the fanny pack. With just a glance on the trail, it looks like a cell phone holster.

I have sensed alarm in people when I met them out on the lonesome when a gun was hanging prominently. Now, they never see it. I just give them a big smile and keep the gun turned away from them as I pass them on the trail.

I use an Uncle Mike's size 3 Sidekick for the same gun as yours, with a snap thumb retention strap thing. You do some messing with the velcro and you get a decently tight/easy to unhook strap. I wear it everyday I'm in the woods. Probly not the best, but cheap and it works. Decent backup if nothing else.

Does Anyone know if the Bianchi X15 Shoulder Holster will fit my GP100....It there are 2 part numbers but neither of them say for what barrel length....Mine is the 6 inch

Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake. www.simplyrugged.com. Not terribly expensive and can be made with a lot of options.
