I'm proud of her. she didn't shoot, after the threat had passed, even though no shot was fired, the gun was used to repel an armed robber...win-win! I KNOW a lot of folks think the robber should be dead right now, but I hope he's at home cleaning his britches, and thinking about looking into a new line of work.
If she HAD shot him, the ACLU or some other dim bulbs would be after her, because it was no longer self defence at that point. There's a shop owner in Florida doing time in prison right now because he shot a robber who was running away. good on her, she wins!
She did very well and people need to protect themselves more than ever.More people to stand up like Granny ! Seriously though, like that guy was saying on the Mark Levin show, most of these shooting crimes are done in places where guns are not allowed. And Obviously thats where we need the personel that are properly trained jmho.
Good on her, though she did give the guy too much of an opportunity to grab it from here. He even made contact with the gun (through a magazine or something) when she reached across the counter to him as he cowered on the ground. Glad no one had to get shot; hopefully it's a valuable life-lesson for both people involved (moreso the robber).
