Great day shooting trap

Wife and I woke up this morning with the realization that we both had the day off.

So, much to my delight, she asked to go trap shooting.

Off to PGC with the Remington 870, Mossberg 500 and lots of ammo and trap tickets.

We got in one round and then, also to my delight, our very own Dave McCracken showed up with his trusty 870 in hand.

Much fun had. Beautiful day, wife one station over, Dave McCracken two over. Lil bro...Spot77 showed up for an unexpected round of trap.

Have to say....I should have stopped after the first round of trap. Cleaned the first 19 shots and then missed three of the last 6 shots for a total score of 22.

Wife had a personal best of 13 and then 16 and really kicked my butt on the first round of wobble, cleaning the first 9 or 10 shots.

Wife now wants a Browning over and under like her Daddy's so that she can shoot skeet and sporting clays.

Yes.......life is good.

nice work. it was beautiful today.

i had a great day on sun at PGC. it was also a gorgious day and i went out w/ my dad and uncle. i shot 19, 21, 24, 17 on wobble trap. my best showing to date.
